Our group of twelve had a great time exploring the hills and trails Sunday morning at Island Ford. The temperatures started out pretty cool, but warmed up as we hiked.  Our route took us first along the river and then up and back to the Lollipop trail before returning and taking an alternate route over some more hills and down to the river again. Altogether we got in 5 total miles in two hours, which was our goal!

We had three new members on their very first AOC event, so a big welcome to Susan, Norman and Ashley! Susan and Norman also brought their lovely and sweet dog Pearl.
