I had so much fun with the AOC hikers at Island Ford this morning. Our group of 11 including newcomers Tim H, Carolynn, and Grover hiked along the Chattahoochee River today. The weather was perfect for this event as our fearless leader Tatiana assisted us in hiking 8.25 miles in 2 hours and 40 minutes. There is just no slowing her down. In any event, our group was relentless as they moved quickly through the trails, enjoyed the many nice views of the Chattahoochee, plants and wild life. I had such an awesome time on this hike,  and I hope to hike with everyone again soon!
