The weather was perfect and the smiles were bright as we set out on our quest for the GOLD. Right off the bat, Daveo charged up the hill to get our hearts beating fast.  Then we traipsed along the perimeter of Bull Sluice Lake and ventured into the woods in the center of the park. Lisa took over the lead for a while as Daveo swept up the back of the group, which offered the lovely opportunity for the trip leaders to chat with different folks. A big, warm welcome to Darien on her very first event with the AOC.
