Write Up:
There were just a few of us riding, but that merely lent to the intimacy of the group. The weather couldn't have been more perfect; everyone was just a wee bit chilly to start, but when we warmed up the 40-50-something temperatures were quite lovely for the ride.

We lost one attendee at the 9.2 mile marker due to knee problems, but he safely made it back to the car without too much difficulty. The rest of us sped on to the 14.66 mile marker, and met Chuck the Mechanic while there. Tony T. met up with us at the break and rode back with Cam at the front.

The fall leaves were plentiful and gorgeous. Much of the trail was littered with leaves, adding a nice crunching sound as we sped over them.

Perfect weather, perfect ride. Average speeds started at around 7-8mph, probably finished in the 12-15mph zone. That last little hill was a kicker for some, but not insurmountable.

Flora of note: Amazing fall leaves!
Fauna of note: n/a

Injuries to report: One member's knee gave out at the 9.2 mile marker

Welcome to new member Bruce!
