What a beautiful day to be on the water with friends!  Even though the wind seemed to be always against us, we still had a great day!  Everyone did an excellent job maneuvering the shoals and snaking our way into and out of the hidden cove, which the higher water level afforded us the opportunity to explore.  We got to see many heron nests along the way, and a few hawks, one of which had just captured a fish for lunch.  We look forward to paddling with you all again soon!
