What a lovely day for a hike. Though this was a hike on which beginners were welcome, it wasn't entirely an easy stroll through the park. The group actually voted to go up the BAH - - which we did! And the final hill up to the parking lot was "breath catching." But the pace was very moderate, so we got to enjoy numerous wildflowers and even a group of 9 High Country Outfitter rafts as they headed downriver. The rafters seemed to be having a grand old time from the sound of their shouts and laughter. We paused at the bamboo forest and the overlook deck to view at the scenery and take a few pictures. Trena kept us on schedule, finishing the planned hike right on time. ~ Joyce
