No matter what the weather, Leita Thompson Park is a beautiful place for a hike. Today most of our miles were in the shade of the forest protected from the sun, except where we hiked across the sunny meadow by the community garden and later in front of the dog park.  We found a few cool breezy places as the noon hour approached, but mostly it was a warm morning. It's always nice to get a hike in before it gets too hot.  The good company of this group always makes this event such a pleasure. Thank you all for showing up. ~Trish
