Write Up:
At 7PM, we began our brisk hike from Burnt Hickory Rd. trailhead to the Illinois Monument that took us across Dallas Hwy to the beginning trail section for Cheatham Hill. Roundtrip, our trail totaled approximately 4.25 miles. Everyone worked up a great appetite and we had some of the most delicious burritos (affordably priced too!) at Alamo Burrito On the Square in Downtown Marietta. After filling our tummies and sharing some laughs, we still had a thirst and strolled next door to Crystals Pub for some great live blues and Cerveza. :)

All agreed this is an event worth repeating!
