Write Up:
We hit Springer Mountain to start, as we arrived in a he parking lot we met a gentleman that had just finished his AT hike starting last August in Maine and hiking through the winter. We gave him some trail magic as he was waiting for his family to pick him up. Later on we greeted him again on the trail with his family. Next we headed to Jacks Knob at Brasstown. It was a good climb and we all enjoyed the nice breeze at top and had lunch. Next we went to Mountain Crossings at Walasi-yi and checked out the store and had a cool drink. Then it was onward to Blood Mountain. We had plenty of time to relax and hangout at the top before sunset. We hiked down with are headlamps and then headed back to Atlanta. We ccompleted the day with a stop at waffle house since it was after 11pm. It was a amazing day and great group of people!
