We had a nice relaxing 3+ mile walk through McDaniel Farm Park...the fall foliage was superb as expected, especially against the deep blue sunny skies. We mostly stuck to the paved trail but ventured off on some wooded dirt side trails here and there...those always seem more fun. This was a slightly surreal hike at times as there a some modeling club at the park as well. We would come around corners here and there and see models in evening gowns and party dresses and swimsuits. It was odd, but interesting. After the hiking, we explored the Heritage Farm area of the park...checking out the old Tenant house, barn, and the McDaniel family farmhouse. It was a good hike with a fun group.
