REI gear specialist Brian Matthews did a nice job hosting and presenting this 1-1/2 hour tutorial at the Atlanta store. Our AOC attendees were among about 15 hiking and backpacking enthusiasts from the public who found this "Pack Light, Pack Right" indoor learning experience to be a fitting precursor to upcoming wilderness adventures. Among other things we discussed packs, tents, sleep systems, food & stoves, water treatment and suggested destinations. -Charlie
