The group was up for a little adventure - - even our newer members! - - so we took the steep climb up from the cave to the trail. We took an unfamiliar route (aka "got lost") to the overlook deck, then efficiently made our way to the bamboo forest. Along the way we caught site of a deer and the heron, and we rescued a turtle from a black retriever (that we thought was a bear as it came out of the woods). The group was pushed hard on this D2, but no one complained and we all made it back safely. ~ Joyce
