Write Up:Adam, John, and I set off to tackle the Bull Mtn/Bare Hare Trail on a perfectly beautiful day for mtn biking. This trail has all the ingredients for an excellent ride- rocks, mud, roots, water crossings, uphill, downhill, fast, and
slow. The first part was a long, hard rocky uphill on which everyone had a couple tip overs . After a snack and chat break near the top it was on to the reason for enduring the uphill part; the downhill! Tight and twisting
through trees eager to grab your handlebars it was a test of skill and sensibility to see how fast you could go. We then regrouped in anticipation of the next challenge; wickedly fast fireroad. Literally flying at times,
our run was interrupted when I suffered a very untimely rear tire puncture.Thankfully it was the only serious injury of the day. Back on the trail we tiredly
finished off the ride. 3 hrs after having started we were back. Tired, bruised and muddy all were in agreement it was a great, fun ride in good company.
