What a beautiful morning this was - - clear, cool, and absolutely perfect. We had several relatively new ladies on the trail with us today, but the group stayed tight, despite the moderately brisk pace and the distance - - about 6 miles. We stopped by the ruins for those who had never seen them (always a crowd-pleaser) and then hiked to the Cochran Shoals cemetery before taking a long trail back. One more stop at Sibley Pond capped off the hike at just over 2 hours. ~ Joyce
