The hike Thanksgiving morning at Island Ford was one of the best Thanksgiving Hikes that I have been on with the AOC.  The weather was perfect, the trail was beautiful with all of its changing leaves, and what a wonderful group of people to hike with! With this in mind, our group of 20 hiked 3 miles in 55 minutes: great job! In addition to a nice hike and excellent people to talk too, we saw two deers, several chipmunks, some amazing views of the river and nature. Thanks again hikers for making this an awesome Thanksgiving Day  Hike!
