Write Up:

We rarely hike at Olde Rope Mill, but it's certainly a place worthy of attention. There are three beautiful trails, so lots of possibilities for both distance and elevation. The park is dedicated to bikers, but hikers are not discouraged. On a weekday, there's not much bike traffic, which is nice for hikers. Signs at each trailhead advise which direction to travel, with bikes going in a direction opposite from hikers.

We hiked on the Explorer Trail today and added a loop on the Avalanche Trail. The heavy rains last night led to a very humid hike, but other than that it was a perfect day for a jaunt! ~ Joyce
