Write Up:
Had a nice turn out for our weekly Leita Thompson Morning Hike. Had thought that some of the heat and humidity had dissipated, but that theory was quickly quashed. By mile one, I think we were all feeling some of the heat! Regardless, we managed a fairly brisk pace and thanks to my numerous helpers, we crossed the stream, climbed the hills and made it back to the parking lot in time. A hearty group of eight headed to Panera afterwards for lunch. See ya next week!
