Interesting how much the Tuesday Leita Thompson group of hikers resembles the Thursday morning Island Ford group!  It's great to have such loyal, gregarious, folks to hike with on a regular basis.  That being said, newcomers are very special, and we had two today.  One was new to the AOC - - Harold - - and the other was just new to Leita Thompson - - Gary.  How nice to welcome them both to the Tuesday group.  We hope they'll return as often as they're able.

We missed Trish today, but know she's having a great little vacation.  Hopefully, her little toe will be pain free by the time she returns next week.  We did our best to keep up a good pace for the two hour hike.  Dan's GPS clocked in 5.9 miles.   I think we can call that six!  ~  Joyce
