A perfect hike on a perfect day! Sadly, two of our members - - Radhika and Cathy W. - - arrived late and had to do their own hike without the group. But they checked in with me so that I would know they finished safely.

We kept a healthy pace, finishing the 10 mile hike right on time (including a 25 minute stop for lunch). Our two brand new members, Deanna and Michelle, had no trouble handling the hike. (Well done, ladies!) And congratulations to Mike M. for looking strong on his first D4 hike! (Great to see our members getting stronger and more fit as they ramp up the difficulty of their hikes.)

It was great to make new friends on this hike (Cleve, Paula, Michelle, Mark, and Deanna). I hope to see all of you often. ~ Joyce
