No fires, no smoke, no rain this morning; just cool temperatures and loads of sunshine! We couldn't have asked for a better morning or a more congenial group of hikers. The 8 miles went quickly, taking only 4.5 hours (including our lunch break on top of Blood Mountain). We were happy to welcome a brand new AOC member - Mark P. - - and hope to see him often on future hikes.~ Joyce
