What fun we had today! Thanks to help from Doug and Gary, the group explored a new trail along a creek that added some distance and added ascent to our tried and true trails. Since the water in the Chattahoochee was low today, we did some rock scrambling on the river before reaching the bamboo forest.  

We took all the challenging trails, so we did some pre-Thanksgiving calorie burns - - and what a perfect day to do so. The temperature never got above the mid-40's, and the air was pristine.  

For several of our group, it was their first time hiking at East Palisades. I love seeing the beautiful sites along the trails through their eyes. ~ Joyce
