The Friday Night Urban Hike in Sandy Springs was the perfect way to avoid the Black Friday shopping spree as well as enjoy some exercise after Thanksgiving. Our group of 12 hikers included brand new AOC members Donna R and Deborah G! Welcome to the AOC and Congrats on your first event! With this in mind, we hiked a nice three miles thru Lake Forrest, the Heritage, Blue Stone, City Walk and a couple of other spots before returning to the Lefont theater. At the end of our hike several of us stayed to see the movie "The Arrival" in which we had the theater to ourselves. I guess everyone was shopping..LOL. IN either case, it was an excellent hike with an excellent group of people! Thanks again hikers! I hope more newcomers and existing members will join us for the next Urban hike and movie on Friday nights.
