A very small group for this afternoon's hike, but a lovely one. We kept the pace under fitness speed, but covered over 4 miles nonetheless. We hiked to the old ruins so that Mike and Ellie could see them, and posed there for a few photos. Our trek criss-crossed the park where we enjoyed the dust-free trails that were left after yesterday's rains.
The park was eerily quiet this afternoon. There were no cars but ours in the lot, and we so no one on the trails. We had the park to ourselves! ~ Joyce
