I can't remember a hike I've enjoyed more than this one. We covered everything, and barely broke a sweat due to the chilly temperature. We took the "new" trail backward (thanks to Doug's excellent trailblazing), we climbed the long cliff hill, we climbed the long hill to Riverview Rd. and down, we rock scrambled on the river, we walked through the bamboo forest, we climbed the BAH, we saw the beautiful view from the deck, and we climbed up to the cave. All of that in 2.5 hours on the nose. The trails were so lovely today, and it was FUN! 
DaveO kept excellent watch over the back of the group, and we finished with no injuries. Happy me! ~ Joyce
