Write Up:

We had a great time together, first enjoying a sunny picnic near our vehicles at Hahn Woods - then hiking a wide variety of scenic trails.  Along the way we marveled at gushing waterfalls, colorful flora & fauna and old stone ruins - also traversed the high swinging bridge over South Fork Peachtree Creek and discussed the fascinating human history of Emory's parklands.  Thanks to Gerrilyn for bringing her nice dog Sam. If he hadn't barked we'd have missed seeing the big deer! - trotting across the road at a "Deer Crossing" sign no less!!
It was fun having Donna & Jim with us whom I'd gotten to know on several week-long "Paddle GA" kayaking adventures - also a pleasure hiking with new members Zahra & Amir and with my friends Jenny and Dan.   - Submitted by Charlie on Feb 2nd.
THANKS to GERRILYN for sharing the COLORFUL PHOTOS BELOW:
