Hats off  to our numerous AOCers who "gave back" to our Chattahoochee River by pitching in with this huge annual waterway cleanup.  It's always lots of fun despite the amazing amount of work that gets done by the hundreds of volunteers.  It's a pleasure pitching in with so many other nice volunteers from the public at large and letting them know how easy it is to become active in the AOC.  Our Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and CRNRA hosts do a bangup job coordinating everything and our various paddling and walking teams remove tens of thousands of pounds of refuse from the river and its islands and riverbanks.  - Submitted by Charlie, Apr 11th
