Like Moses parting the Red Sea, Trish parted the rain clouds and gave us abundant sunshine for our Tuesday morning hike at Leita Thompson. The 16 hikers who kept the faith enjoyed a brisk but not too fast 2-hour trek through the woods. No up-close scenes of the wildlife food chain on this day, but Leigh did get a glimpse of runner man for the first time in weeks. After completing about 6 1/4 miles, several of the risk takers in the group enjoyed lunch at a new place nearby, Your Pie. Once it received good reviews from those in attendance, I was happy to take credit for suggesting it.
