As a group, we have decided Joyce has basically one speed for Island Ford and one speed only, which is to say, it is NOT slow!  We had group A that Joyce led followed by group B that Carol led and that seemed to work:)  We still managed to cover 5.5 miles on another warm and muggy morning.  Would like to welcome Melanie back into the group - a long time AOC hiker but just rejoining the Thursday morning group.  Trish continues her training carrying a 17 lb. pack around which is not an easy task in this heat.  Twelve hikers returned to North River Tavern after last week's hiatus!  A good time was had by all. ~ Carol
