Write Up:
It was a cool and pleasant day for a paddle on the Chattahoochee. Joanne, Mike, Cathy, and Ray proceeded upstream towards Island Ford from Azalea Park. We had a rather large range in boat lengths and resulting speeds this week which caused a slight change in plans. Instead of pushing against the current all the way to the shoals, we headed back downstream at the GA 400 bridge and then took a side trip exploring Big Creek alongside CRNRA Vickery Creek.
