Well, needless to say, we did get WET!!  But four of us braved the elements in keeping with the tradition of the Thursday Morning Island Ford Hike.  We hiked through light rain and sometimes heavier rains but the canopy of the trees protected us pretty darn well.  What we did hike through were puddles and puddles and more puddles!!  We avoided the warmup hill but it was dry enough for us to go explore the old chimmey and homestead.  A big welcome to Liz and a big thanks to Shirley and Jeff G. who shared this wet but delightful hike with me this morning!  (We couldn't not hike - we knew Joyce would have been out here:) !! )
