The humidity was high today - 99% at the start of the hike! But it did nothing to deter our hearty group. We kept a steady pace going close to 6 miles today as we explored the wonderful trails of Leita Thompson. We would like to welcome Mezi; this was her second AOC event and first Leita Thompson hike. We celebrated Carol’s 300th hike with Joyce making some brownies for the group and her giving Carol a beautiful bandana as well as a beautifully decorated rock. It was also a huge milestone for Joyce - #1500! Don’t think anyone will be catching up to her soon. Jeff and Sharon also caught us up with the news of their new grandchildren- congrats to both of them! ~ Carol
