What perfect weather we had for our hike at Sope Creek.  We started with a hike down to the Mill ruins along Sope Creek.  A steep climb up from the ruins back to the trail and we were on our way.  We looped through various coves in the Sope Creek section of the park before making our way towards the Cochran Shoals section.  

We visited the Scribner family cemetary tucked back in the woods which was our turnaround point for our hike.  As we made our way back towards the parking lot, we enjoyed the absolutely beautiful weather.  Passing Sibley Pond, we made our way back to the cars and we were done with our 4.7 mile, two hour jaunt.  Special welcome to Tanya who was on only her third A OC event.
