Well, what happened to the Fall weather? We were once again tasked with hiking in high humidity and heat today. Did that deter this group? No way! The hearty Island Forders did do a little moaning but had no problems as we tackled these trails. We did have fewer stops and maintained a quicker pace bringing us up again to the D3 level. Would like to welcome Val to the group. She had absolutely no problems handling the hike. Also, welcome back to Leigh after battling with some injuries. 16 joined us at North River Tavern - 2 of our regulars that hadn’t made it on the active list but had managed to get a hike in prior to joining us for lunch.
