Write Up:

What a beautiful day for a hike in Tucker! The weather was nice, not too sunny, not too hot.

There were 18 avid hikers on the start of our hike, but we lost 3 due to a minor injury (tripping on one of the very many roots at this park.) A big thank you to Susie and Rich for volunteering to take the member back to her car. She is home and doing well.

Also a big welcome to new member Kelly H. Thank you, Kelly, for letting me lead you on your 1st outing with the AOC. And thank you, Jim, for volunteering to sweep for me.

We started the hike on the blue trail, connecting to the white trail that goes around the lake. We explorered a little on the red trail before making our way to the waterfall. We concluded the hike at the community garden, where a massive magnolia grows, providing us with this magnificent group shot inside the tree.
