A delightful hike today with trails that one won't find on the Johnson Ferry North map. Holt is very familiar with the less-used trails around the area, so he showed us some places none of us had seen before. We enjoyed seeing Hyde Farm (from a distance), an old homestead, creeks, an old jalopy, and a Great Blue Heron! We meandered all over the place, getting in 5 miles in 2 hours . . . just as the itinerary promised.
