It was a perfect day for hiking. We had a good group and a good day on the trail. FD Roosevelt State Park has many beautiful items and lovely scenery, from waterfalls to the Big Poplar to Elephant Rock to the FDR Statue. Unfortunately, we saw none of those ;-) but now you have a reason to go back. What we did see were stunning wide open vistas, rock outcroppings, and we discovered a tree recently hit by a lightning strike.

Overall we had a really good pace and a very good time. We have to come back and visit FDR State park again and enjoy the other things it has to offer.
