This fearless band of six hikers braved sub-zero temperatures and sub-human wind chills to summit Stone Mountain on January 1, 2018 at 7:15 AM.  The rewards? Bragging rights to the First AOC Hike of 2018; Dancing to music by a Korean band in traditional outfits; Beautiful views of Atlanta and Kennesaw Mtn. silhouetted in the early morning sky, and of course, the warm glow of satisfaction at having completed our aerobics before 9 AM. Cheesecake, here I come!
