Lots of adjustments to our roster up to the very last minute! But the 14 that stayed  were treated to the slippery, wet trails of Island Ford. We had about 5 minutes of light rain but after that, the Joyce bubble kicked in and we were good to go!  We did slow down the pace a little to avoid any falls but still managed to get in 5.5 miles.  Started by going around the pond and afterwards, to the warm up hill.  Casey was first one up today - left the rest of the group in the dust!  Barb helped out by being sweeper.  We also welcomed David to our Thursday morning hike - it appears he may be a new regular on this hike!  Thanks to all of you who stuck around and make Thursdays such a special day!  Hope to see you next week - same time, same place:)
