Oh, yes, it was cold! The group was so grateful to Joe Baiyor who brought preheated handwarmers - - enough for the entire bunch of us! They were extremely appreciated thoughout the hike.  

There were icicles next to the dam waterfall and a patch of icicles forming in the creek near the covered bridge. Those were rare sights for us.

People were hard to recognize with all of the layers and head coverings, but jacket colors were helpful in identifying folks. We hiked at a good pace but didn't break a sweat today . . . no surprise!  

We were happy to have Trena back with us after the Christmas work crunch. ~ Joyce
