We enjoyed a wonderful 5 day walk in Spain, with mostly great weather.  Eight AOC pilgrims walked over 100 kilometers from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela.  Each earned the 'Compostela', the original religious certificate written in Latin.  A festive group, we enjoyed many spanish favorites including paella, octupus, the "pilgrims menu", and the local beverages served in bottles and glasses.  We met other pilgrims along the way, including many from Spain and a few americans.  Some pilgrims took a tour after the hike to Finisterre Spain, the "end of the world".  Hopefully the AOC will do this event again.
