We had a good time on this "sunset + moonrise" experience - just 11 hours after an equally unforgettable pre-dawn "lunar-eclipse-moonset + sunrise" summit hike that several in our group had also enjoyed.
  Having been blessed with fair weather all day,  our Walkup Trail hike was rewarded by fine views of the big, round and reddish "post-eclip-aliptic blue-blood" full moon.  We relaxed atop the mountain by the tramway tower and watched it slowly rise on the eastern horizon over Stone Mtn Lake, about 25 minutes after an equally colorful sunset over Atlanta's skyline in the west.
