A great group for a rather cool morning hike all the way around the perimeter of Big and Little Kennesaw Mountains.  We utilized both official and unofficial trails to accomplish this and covered 7 miles in about 2 1/2 hours.  We all enjoyed the trek through the big mile long field which allowed us to warm up a little in the sun as we made our way towards Burnt Hickory Rd.  We had one creek crossing near the end that was a little challenging but we all made it across with dry feet.  All in all, a great way to spend a morning.
