Volunteering to help with trail maintenance at Kennesaw is an important endeavor for those of us who so frequently hike on the trails. Volunteers are asked to help every month on the 2nd Saturday of the month. (Today's work day was a make-up day because of the cancelled workdays in January and February (due to bad weather).
Gayle posts AOC events so that folks from the club can participate together with the other trail volunteers. It's very rewarding to work on a section of trail and see dramatic before/after results. Today's work took place on the main trail up Big Kennesaw. ~ Joyce
