Great group for this mornings "squish fest" as we covered some of the water logged trails of the Interstate North unit of CRNRA.  We got to warm up on the flats next to the river before heading across the swamp on the boardwalk and the beginning of many ups and downs as we crossed several ridge lines.  We had a brief 200 yard road walk to connect up with a few unofficial and official trails in Cochran Shoals.  We had one challenging creek crossing (across Terrell Branch) with only a few slightly damp feet before heading back towards the river.  After another mile along the river, we reached our cars and the end of our 5 mile, 2 hours trek.  ~ Holt
