Write Up:
It was a brisk day out on the water and thankfully George was up for the challenge and and joined me on the river. There were areas of quick flow as well as calm. We bundled up and headed down river to our planned turnaround with many blue heron sightings. Because the river was so high, we had the option to explore one of the side streams and pond on the way back. We got a great upper body workout with little other boat traffic. :)
