We AOC nature and gardening enthusiasts greatly enjoyed this friendly 2-hour gathering with about 2 dozen members of the CNC Nature Club - our 2nd evening with them at the Nature Center this spring.  Our attendees' bountiful contributions to the pre-talk potluck dinner were delicious, after which we were treated to a fascinating "Wild Mushroom" talk by local authors of a wonderful new book on the subject.  We look forward to more shared events with the Chattahoochee Nature Center's "kindred spirits" in the future and are excited to have several fine members of the AOC who first heard about us through their organization.  Thanks to Carla Bell, their Nature Club chairperson (and also an active AOC member!) for encouraging us to strengthen our partnership with the CNC.

Several of our AOC attendees at this indoor event also took advantage of the nice spring weather to enjoy a 5:00 - 7:00 pm "pre-hike" together in the lovely nearby "Gold Branch unit of the Chattahoochee Nat'l Recreation Area. - Submitted by Charlie, Apr 27th
