Write Up:
We had another terrific group of 14 hikers for this event. The weather was perfect! Everyone was excited for their hike knowing the celebration afterwards ( Cinco de Mayo & Derby day). The Mother Mountain was kind to us - dry rocks and a kiss of a breeze when needed! She offered up many bloom's and sentimental aromas. The trail was perfumed with many wild flowers... Bluets, and some Violet Wood Sorrel. Did not see many of the Eastern Blue Star? Everyday on the Mountain it gives you a gift in many ways especially from nature. If you hike too fast - you'll miss it. I would like to welcome Randall G to the club. I think we have got us a hiker👏 also Dave Shick is setting new ground!
