An adventurous hike replete with entrance balloons, a cottonmouth crossing our trail, rocks to negotiate, tales of the New Hampshire AT (Holt just finished a section hike), and finally - - POPSICLES! We finished on time, covering 5 miles in very challenging heat and humidity. We missed Trena, but know she's doing a service out west helping to pace a friend with his 100 mile trail-run race. ~ Joyce
