It was a hot and humid morning -temperature was at 89 degrees when we fininshed up.  We maintained a comfortable pace stopping on numerous occassions to rehydrate.  Saw a copperhead on the trail by Bull Sluice Lake so be aware!  Needless to say, we did not find any gold at "Gold Branch" today:)
