Dan worked hard to arrange that his 300th event would fall on today's Monday Morning Beginners Welcome hike. I normally co-lead the hikes. but had to withdraw from today's - - , but I wanted to give Dan his due by showing up for the hike to take pictures and present him with a commemorative rock. I also brought my sister, Doris, to meet the group, which is why she's included in the photos.

Trena will miss the next two weeks as she participates in the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc race. We're all so proud of her and wish her the best of luck. ~ Joyce
